How We See It

EXPRESSION: Art is inherently expressive! You are unique, and the art that you collect should be an extension of yourself. We want to empower you to express to the world who you are, what you value, and what you see as beautiful!

EXPERIENCE: Art is personal! Purchasing art online with a point and click is not personal! The process of collecting art can be daunting — an extensive variety of styles and artists and the wide range of price points all create an impenetrable barrier for the novice buyer. Our goal is to ease you into art collecting by creating an experience that focuses on meeting your needs.

EXPLORATION: Our intention is to provide an environment that offers you a place to be enlightened and inspired — discover new styles, up-and-coming artists, and the timeless masters, too. But above all else, we want you to discover yourself in the process, and we hope that this is just the beginning of what will become a lifelong journey of discovery.

Discover Yourself, Discover Art.

Crivelli was born in Venice and probably trained with Squarcione in Padua. He spent most of his life in the Marches (eastern central Italy), after periods in Venice and Zara. Crivelli was active as a painter by 1457 when he was condemned in Venice for adultery. ⠀
Fun Fact: Crivelli used the cucumber — virtually absent from Renaissance art — as a signature motif. The apples and fly are symbols of sin and evil and are opposed to the cucumber and the goldfinch, symbols of redemption. Crivelli’s signature is on what looks like a piece of paper attached to the watered-silk cloth with wax.⠀

Destiny Belgrave, a Caribbean American, explores race, spirituality, and femininity through intricate paper cuttings. She is a mixed media whirlwind, pursuing what she desires while making the work that comes to her.⠀
